For 2024, Glassier has been shortlisted for ‘Best Heritage Installation’ at the GGP Installer Awards. This award recognises a range of different installations, from Feature Doors to Orangeries. This award also focuses on both commercial and residential installations, and is judged by a panel of industry experts. The GGP awards are sponsored by a range of organisations who are direct suppliers, accrediting bodies such as FENSA and other businesses related to the home improvement industry.
The ‘Best Heritage Installation’ award is one that Glassier are proud to be shortlisted for, as heritage homes can be particularly challenging for installers due to regulations, as well as the ageing of a property. We collaborate with homeowners of heritage properties to ensure the home improvements they wish to be carried out can be executed within regulation and to achieve the desired effect. We also partner with Rationel, Gowercroft and Velfac, to supply and install a range of windows and doors, all of which are compliant and can be fitted into heritage and period homes. Our team of experts work hard to ensure that all products and services carried out are that of the highest quality.
Awards such as this put Glassier in the forefront of customers minds, and reflect positively on our business. Here at Glassier, we are a family run business, and we focus on ensuring our customers are satisfied upon completion of their home improvement projects. We do not use pushy sales tactics, and will not quote you during a home visit, instead will contact you on return to the office to inform you of our quote. Our friendly team of experts will assist in any way they can to ensure your home improvement project goes smoothly, from quote to installation and aftercare.
Glass and Glazing Products Magazine were established in 1982, and they are at the forefront of the home improvement, glass, windows, doors and conservatories industry consistently providing fresh insight and information. Their main aim is to provide companies with new and evolving information to ensure they can keep their company relevant in a particularly challenging and evermoving industry landscape.
The GGP Installer Awards also feature a charity partner, which this year is Kelly’s Heroes. Kelly’s Heroes was set up in 2019 as a legacy of Kelly Hewitt, who at 24 years old, lost her fight with mental health. Kelly’s Heroes was formed to help bereaved families, who have lost family members to mental health problems. They also aim to rise awareness and help in the prevention of suicide.
The GGP Installer Awards is an in-person awards ceremony, held in Manchester, which features lunch and the award ceremony itself. This ceremony not only focuses on the award winners themselves, but also the shortlisted finalists, and gives companies the chance to network with other professionals within the home improvement industry.
